Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series: The photographs are mainly a record of field work and complement the field notebooks. In general they have been ordered chronologically, with the enlargements being located with the contact print sheets. The earlier contact print sheets (1958) had been cut into sections and stapled onto sheets of paper with some description of each, usually location and date.
