A collection of papers relating to Bishop J.C. Patteson and consisting of Bishop Patteson's diaries for 1866-1870; a record of his consecration, 2 March 1861; correspondence 1854-1869; letters and reports about his death; 3 letters and a note about Bishop Patteson's Pectoral Cross (now inlaid in the altar of Selwyn College chapel after presentation by Miss Patteson); a note written by E.B. Pusey concerning Bishop Patteson's attendance at Hebrew lectures, May 25 1853; and an anonymous poem about Patteson entitled "Semen est Senquis Christianorum".
