Supplementary log books; series I: Masters' logs. These are log books and journals kept by the Masters and various crew members of British Admiralty ships on voyage to the Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, 1808-1866. The ships recorded are: the Acheron, Alligator, Anson, Beagle, Blenheim, Belleisle, Buffalo, Calliope, Cleopatra, Cockatrice, Pandora, Portland, Virago, Hermes, Camelion, Childers, Cormorant, Favorite, Janus, Jupiter, Lee, Melville, Nimrod, North Star, Opossum, Orpheus, Osprey, Racehorse, Rattlesnake, Reynard, Sulphur, Samarang, Starling, Swift, Thalia, Torch, Vindictive, Volage, Wellesley, Pagoda and La Chiffonne.
