Scope and Contents

Material gathered for publication, The True University : a short history of the University of Auckland Library, 1883-1986, Auckland University Library, 1988 (Bibliographical Bulletin 16). Includes staff reminiscences, historical notes, drafts and proof copy, and photographs of Alice Minchin, library staff, and library buildings, some of which were used in the pamphlet.

The photograph of senior Library staff (1983) was probably taken by Wallace H. Floyd (Wally Floyd), who took many photographs of University staff during this period.
