A.R.D.(Rex) Fairburn literary papers
Scope and Contents
Correspondence, scrapbooks, lecture notes, addresses, articles, photographs, programmes, typographical specimens, newspaper clippings, non-commercial phonograph recordings, audio tapes and sound discs of radio talks. The Alexander Turnbull Library, Wellington, has photocopies of a number of Fairburn letters. The photographs are in Box 3.

Donated to Arthur Sandall, University Librarian, by Fairburn's widow, Mrs Jocelyn Young, 1957-1964.
Separated Materials
Original photographic material consisting of 22 loose sheets from a pjotograph album, and 1 box of photographs and negatives relating to A.R.D. Fairburn were returned to the literary executor in July 1982. 43 prints from these originals werre retained in Box 3.e used in the McNeish biographyThe photographs in this collection, apart from the prints retained in series were returned to Mrs A.P. Holman at her request in 1986.
