Auckland Regional Authority Passenger Transport Division Inspectors' and Maintenance Officers' Union records.

This collection contains the records of the Auckland Regional Authority Passenger Transport Division Inspectors and Maintenance Officers' Union and its predecessors, including the the Auckland Transport Boards's Inspectors and Maintenance Officers' Industrial Union of Workers (1955-1965), the Auckland Transport Board's Mainenance Officers' Industrial Union of Workers (1936-1955) and the Auckland Transport Board Depot Officers', Inspectors' and Despatchers' Union (1936 - 1940).

The collection includes minute books of the inspectors Union from 9 August 1954 to 6 March 1955 and of the inspectors' and maintenance officers' Union from 5 February 1967 to 19 August 1979 and files of original and photocopied correspondence and records covering the history of the unions from 1936 to 1979.

While much of the material in this collection was created by the Union it appears to have been collected and arranged by the donor David Verran.
