Scope and Contents

Collection comprises of a folder of material potocopied from the archives of the Western Pacific High Commission relating to volcanic eruptions in Niuafo'ou, Tonga during the 1930s and 1940s.

The material was compiled by the anthropologist Garth Rogers during his research for Rogers, Garth. The evacuation of Niuafo'ou: an outlier in the Kingdom of Tonga. Journal of Pacific History.
