Content Description
Audio-recorded interviews were conducted with 17 former students and staff from the University of Auckland School of Engineering. Collections include recordings of interviews, participant data, consent forms and digital photos of interviewees, interview abstracts and cassette recordings.
Interviews were conducted by Patsy Hulse, Library Manager, Engineering, and completed just prior to the closure to the Engineering School library in 2016. Most interviews were conducted between 2006 and 2015. Eleven of the interviews were recorded on cassette tape, the remaining interviews were recorded on a digital recorder.

Biographical / Historical
This project traces the history of the School of Engineering through the memories of staff, students, and other associates. The oral history project was conducted between 2001 - 2015. All but one interview was conducted by Patsy Hulse, Library Manager, Engineering. Patsy worked as the Library manager for over 17 years, up until the closure of the Engineering library in 2016.
