Biographical / Historical
Broadsheet,New Zealand’s feminist magazine, was produced in Auckland from 1972 to 1997 by the Broadsheet Collective. Topics covered include politics, class, sexuality, abortion, the arts and Māori sovereignty. The magazine was very influential in advancing social and political ideas, and is an important source for the social history of the period.
The magazine was digitised by the University of Auckland’s Libraries and Learning Services in 2017 and is available online.
