Biographical / Historical
London and India Docks Joint Committee was formed in 1888 by the amalgumation of the London and St Katherine Docks Company, which also owned the Royal Victoria and Royal Albert Docks, and the East and West India Docks Company. The company became the London and India Docks Company in 1900 which in turn became the Port of London Authority in 1908.
