Scope and Contents

Collection contains three items as follows: Manifesto of the Melanesian Action Front, a group based at the University of Papua New Guinea, with the aim of mobilisation of the people for development; Decentralization: a priority for political development in the New Hebrides, by Barak Sope of the School of Economic and Social Development, University of the South Pacific; New country, old story: the Nagramiel Federation, an account, unsigned, of Michael Oliver and Jimmy Stevens and their activities in the New Hebrides in the 1960s and 1970s.
