Department of Geography photographic negatives.
Scope and Contents
Two folders of indexed negatives in numbered glassine pockets. The negatives in the a folders appear to be a set of material put together for teaching purposes - perhaps to produce a corresponding set of transparencies. The labelling appears to be Professor Cumberland's and the set includes a number of photographs of him.
Accompanying these two folders is an envelope addressed to Mr D. Branch in the Geography Department and are mainly photographs of family holidays during the late 1960s. The inclusion of one set of negatives labelled Don’s band suggests the photos belong to the Auckland jazz musician Don Branch who was employed as a draughtsman in the Department during the 1960s.
