Scope and Contents
Fourty-three spiral backed stenograher's notebooks arranged chronologically as far as possible from May 1958 to March 1960. Most are written by E.J.S. and comprise primary ethnographic data on titles, genealogy, funerals, taumafa kava, child rearing, and history from interviews, discussions and observations. The notes written by J.S. are concerned mainly with his work on the Environmental Sanitation Project (ESP). Some shorthand.
