The material in this series comprises printed and cyclostyled bulletins, leaflets and newsletters produced by the Communist Party of New Zealand. These files may have been compiled by the National Office of the CPNZ as a set of reference copies. Certainly many of the leaflets and bulletins have date stamps noting when they were received by National Office while others have been annotated with comments regarding their content and print quality. Originally this material was separated from McAra’s papers and placed in the CPNZ serials file, however, in 2009 it was decided to return the material to A-139 to make it more accessible to researchers.
