From the Series:
This series contains a variety of papers relating to the New Zealand Labour Party, the majority date from the 1930s when McAra was an active member of the Party. Included here is material from the Party's annual conferences including handwritten notes by McAra, meeting minutes and election campaign materials.
A group photograph of those who attended the New Zealand Labour Party conference in 1936 or 37 can be found at MSS & Archives a-139, item 2/39.
