1941-1949. Monthly reports of monthly (and annual) meetings, reports of special meetings, some special circulars. Balance sheet 1946. Cyclostyled. , 1941 - 1949
Scope and Contents
These records consist mainly of material cyclostyled for circulation to delegates of affiliated organisations and to branch members. They include monthly reports, based on minutes of monthly, annual and special meetings, and circular letters relating to such activities as nominations of candidates, canvassing support for the Labour Party, social occasions etc.
The first two folders contain also a small number of copies of typewritten outward letters beginning 1917. Reports of meetings being at 1926. Since the minute books in the main body of the collection date only from 1934, the cyclostyled reports for 1926-1932 will serve as records of meetings prior to that date. It should be noted that the folders contain no documents dated 1933.
A folder titled LRC Minutes Apr 1966-Apr 1967
formed part of the 1978 deposit of material, and was placed in Series 1 Box 7, at the end of the sequence of minute books. It has been re-located at the end of this group since its contents are similar to those described above.
