Butler Bros, Ruatapu. Minutes and Reports, Feb 1933-June 1938., 1933 - 1938

In 1974 the Library received records of the Kauri Timber Co. Ltd from Fletcher Holdings. While some of the records were arranged and described at A-222 at that time some were left in storage at the Library and only recently recovered. The later records are described in this inventory and are located at MSS & Archives 90/4. These records consist primarily of correspondence and miscellaneous financial records of subsidiary timber companies, especially George Syme & Co., and Butler Bros.

The majority of the records of the Kauri Timber Co. Ltd are held in the Alexander Turnbull Library and include letter books and miscellaneous financial records of The Kauri Timber Co., 1923-1951, as well as a microfilm of Minute Books of the Melbourne Office, 1888-1939.
