Scope and Contents

From the Series:

Some papers, in fairly random order, were received in file boxes labelled Special Topics. The greatest quantity of these concerned Awards and Agreements, and to these have been added other discrete files also referring to technicians awards from 1976 onwards. There is likely to be much duplication of items in this area. It has been considered better to retain too much material rather than too little; and examining each item individually would have been a very lengthy process.

Two large ringbinders marked 8/103 Technicians Part 1 from July 1980, and 8/103 Technicians from August 1988 : 1988/89 Round. These contained National Office material but presumably were held in Auckland. The contents of these binders have been placed at the beginning of the sequence (Folders 3/1/1-3/1/5), in preference to breaking them up to fit chronologically.
