This folder contains two letters relating to Anna Garden's thesis that were originally found within the bound volume:

1) Typed letter dated 8 October 1975 to Mr A. McLean, Auckland Boilermakers' Union, from A. J. Faulkner, Minister of Labour, regarding request from Anna Garden to carry out research relating to the Auckland Boilermakers' Union and the Benney Decision.

2) Handwritten letter dated 11 November 1977 to Mr Findlay, Auckland Boilermaker's Union, from Anna Garden regarding Findlay's opinion of Garden's thesis.
