Gulf War. Campaign against the Gulf War. Letters from Iraqi Peace Campers, December 1990-April 1991., 1990 - 1991
Scope and Contents
Collection includes newsletters, mailing lists, leaflets, correspondence, minutes, publications, posters and photographs.
The three sets of papers, MSS & Archives A-249, 90/7 and 94/9, received from the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (Auckland Branch) at different times, overlap. Together they form an accumulation of material dating from the organisation’s founding to its going into recess in 1994. The sets should be consulted together as one body of material.
In arranging this latest deposit it has been considered most convenient to keep to a basic chronological sequence similar to those in A-249 and 90/7, even though a more complex sorting of material by the organisation’s officers is evident from the early 1980s. The papers are therefore grouped within a designated time period, subdivided, where the organisation’s own sorting makes that possible, into their separate series.
