Scope and Contents
From the Series:
A distinction was made in the original box listing between the files in this series and those of Series 4 and 5, the latter being designated Research Notes, perhaps solely because they were held in different filing cabinets in the author's room, but perhaps because they contain, in part, papers given to him as complete files by the University Registry. This distinction has been maintained.
