Scope and Contents

During 2000 Clay continued to travel and visited the USA, Canada, Germany and Scotland. Folder 1/20/1 contains a handwritten schedule along with a pocket diary and monthly planner.

In February, Clay travelled to the USA to attend the North American Reading Recovery Conference, Ohio, where she was a keynote speaker. In April she later travelled to Texas Women's University and then on to Canada to attend a Reading Recovery trainers meeting in Vancouver.

Returning to New Zealand, Clay attended the World Congress on Reading:'Once Upon a Millenium' in July in Auckland before travelling overseas again in September, visiting Germany, Scotland and the USA.
