Scope and Contents
As with previous subseries, folder 1/19/1 contains a handwritten schedule of significant events and travel for the year. Alongside this is a copy of Clay's travel and work plans during a visit to Texas Women's University during February to May.
During 1999 Clay travelled to USA, Canada, South Africa and Australia. She attended the Pan African Literacy Conference and the All Africa Conference, in South Afric at the start of the year then travelled to USA where she took up a teaching and research post at Texas Women's University.
