Subseries contains correspondence, photographs, copies of academic papers and conference programmes including material relating to the 10th Annual Reading Recovery Conference and National Institute. 1995 marked the 10th anniversary of Reading Recovery in the USA and folder 1/15/1 includes reminiscences of its beginnings written by Barbara Peterson.

The subseries also contains correspondence between Brian Camborne, University of Wollongong and Clay regarding the differences between Reading Recovery and the Frameworks programmes.

Folder 1/15/2 contains further congratulations on Clay’s Royal Society of New Zealand Fellowship and a copy of her paper ‘Becoming literate in a multicultural world’, given at the South Pacific Conference on Reading. While folder 1/15/4 includes a range of material including letters from the Auckland Reading Recovery team, photographs and ephemera from Clay’s trip to Sweden and a transcript of an interview given by Marie Clay to the Open Mind Programme in Rte Radio 1 in Dublin.
