Scope and Contents

From the Series:

Files of correspondence collated by Cumberland during the period he was Professor of Geography at the University of Auckland. They contain correspondence on a range of personal and professional matters including correspondence with overseas colleagues, arrangements for trips and conferences and some Auckland City Council matters. Although three files in this series date from Cumberland's retirement, they can be seen as a direct continuation of his work as Professor of Geography at Auckland.

The files in this series are similar to other files created by Cumberland which were found in the Geography Department store in 2012 and are held by Special Collections as MSS & Archives 2013/5, Kenneth Cumberland further papers.
