Mission Book, 1841 - 1844

These contain fair copies made in London of the salient matters of the New Zealand Mission In correspondence (C.N./O).They were made for the greater convenience of the secretaries and committees in dealing with business arising out of the correspondence. Separate name indexes exist see AU microfilm 79-356. It is advisable to check the indexes also under such words as Estimates, Accounts etc. for occasionally these items appear only under these headings rather that under the name of the person or station involved.
