Scope and Contents
The three folders in this series cover the start of 1996. Folder 1/16/1 again includes a handwritten overview of the period by Marie Clay’s daughter Jenny, providing dates of travel and significant events. The folder also contains letters of support for Clay’s nomination for an honorary degree at the Ohio State University, Department of Psychology and a copy of a report titled ‘Status of implementation of R.R. and Desculariendo la Lectura in Northern California’ prepared by Nadine Pedron and Barbara Schubert.
Folders 1/16/2 and 1/16/3 contain both correspondence and photographs relating to Clay’s varied activities and travels. Folder 1/16/3 contains a letter regarding a proposal to put Clay's name forward for her appointment as Member of the Order of New Zealand and a transcript of Clay's speech when accepting the McKenzie Award for Educational Research.
