Biographical / Historical

There once lived a family named Ngariki who lived in the cave Ananui at Ivirua. A boy of Ngati Tane made friends with a boy from Ngariki, who told him the secret way to the cave where his family lived. The Ngati Tane boy came and killed all the people in the cave. Someone after composed the Pe`e from the Ngariki family. The composer is not known.
