Biographical / Historical
Makitaka was a warrior in the olden days who used to look after all the people of Managaia. He killed all the warriors and was the only one left. The tribes didn't like him and wanted him gone because he was cruel. He lived on his own without friends or children. The Pe`e was composed about him.
