Agrees with the suggestion that, in order to avoid delay in the payment of the balance of the Colonial Office salary of Mr. Ayton in England, a telegram should be despatched on or after the last day of each month to the Colonial Office, and adds that the work stomachful would also be held to cover the salary of the High Commissioner at £500 per annum, if so desired., 1918
