Scope and Contents

From the Series:

This set consists mainly of the following classes of materials:

1. Registered and unregistered papers which have been withheld or removed, or which have become detached by accident, from the main body of the Consulate archives;

2. archives of other offices which for one reason or another have been transferred to the custody of the Consul;

3. Estrays from the archives of other offices and persons.

The papers comprising this miscellany are described in the list which forms Appendix I to this inventory.
