Auckland [includes landscapes and harbour/port], undated

This series contains 8.5 x 6.5inch and smaller-sized prints which were housed in their original envelopes labelled with either the location or subject matter of the prints inside.

The photographs were rehoused into new archival quality envelopes. The original envelopes originally contained photographic paper manufactured by Kodak, Empire Works Co., Illingworth's and others and are interesting items themselves. These have been retained and filed with the photographs.

Predominantly landscape photographs, this series is arranged alphabetically by geographical location. There were also some envelopes of images arranged by subject, including ‘skies’ and ‘sheep’. These have been placed at the end of the geographical run.
