The minute book includes letters from Te Rangi Hiroa (Sir Peter Buck), the medical officer to Maori in the Dept. of Health. The letters are pasted into the minute book.

A xerox copy of lectures given by Sir Apirana Ngata to the Porourangi Maori Cultural School, Whakarua Park, Ruatoria, 1944, on the traditions and genealogies of Ngati Porou, and several Ngati Porou genealogies. The volume is made up of separately paged items bound together.

The diary, 31 December 1929 to 8 January 1931, relates to the working of "land owned by Henare Kaihau's children at the request of A. Ngata" by a party under the direction of Princess Te Puea. The scheme fell through and after a year they moved off the land, which was near Waiuku. English translation of Maori original.
