The core of this collection is an audio casette tape titled Wireless telegraphy episodes in Wellington, 1911-1914, and episodes Radio Broadcast Station 2YK, Wellington, 1922-25
. The accompanying papers include a memoir by Thomas Clarkson, former Chief Telegraph Engineer with the New Zealand Post and Telegraph Department, of the early days of radio transmission.
