The collection includes newsletters, pamphlets and documents from a range of organisations including; HART, Auckland Council for Civil Liberties, Committee on Vietnam (Wellington, N.Z.), National Anti-Apartheid Council, New Zealand Race Relations Council, New Zealand Christian Pacifist Society, as well as papers circulated by the third Labour Government.

Scope and Contents
These papers were given to the Library in 1973/4 by Mr Gary Clover who was involved in anti-apartheid activities in Auckland between 1968 to 1974. These years saw protests in New Zealand against contact with South Africa in various sports, culminating in the banning of a Springbok rugby tour by the Labour Government under Norman Kirk in 1973. The papers are not the official records of the organisations represented, rather they are the personal collections of a committed activist who served...
